Description: The 1997 Yamaha XV535 Virago is a mid-sized, classic Japanese cruiser. It features an air-cooled 535cc V-twin engine and a unique shaft drive, making it a reliable and low-maintenance choice. Known for its comfortable, low seating position and distinctive chrome styling, it was a popular model, especially among new or returning riders. This particular example is a UK bike first registered in June 1997. HPI clear with recent report present. 39,697 miles showing on the clocks consistent with GOV.UK MOT history database from 2006. The engine runs smoke-free, as shown in the YouTube video link above; however, the carburettors need attention since the bike has been off the road since its last MOT expired in November 2017. There is some light age related wear and tear present on the bike as pictured.
